Famous women golfers play in the lpga tour every year in the United States. The Ladies Professional Golf Association offers tournaments for the top women in the game. It got its beginning in 1950, with Babe Didrikson Zaharias, famous for her ability in the areas of basketball, golf, and track and field, leading the charge, and it is the oldest professional women's sport organization in america.
Because of my study, I have also done something that as close as I could figure has never been done before in the 200+ year history of golf - I applied some basic science to reading greens. To be specific. I measured greens and mapped them at a Greens Book (more on that later in this article).
